2, Forged Crankshaft: the forged crankshaft is manufactured through a forging process, wherein a single block of metal is heated and shaped using various forces to attain the desired form. This method eliminates the need for welding or heat shrinking to assemble different parts. These crankshafts are well-suited for moderate-speed engines like generators but may require additional hardening processes to enhance rigidity.
Crankshaft Structure
The crankshaft assembly is composed of the following part,
1, Main Journal Bearings: The main journal bearings serve as the central axis of the crankshaft, playing a fundamental role in its structure and function.
2, Counterweights: Counterweights are critical components of the crankshaft, ensuring smooth operation. They are attached to the crankshaft using rod-bearing journals, forming pairs of counterweights.
3, Flywheel Flange: The flywheel of a vehicle is securely fastened to the crankshaft via a component known as the flywheel flange. This connection is vital because the flywheel is a substantial mechanical device that rotates at high RPM. The flywheel flange, located at one end of the crankshaft, is meticulously designed to rigidly hold the flywheel in place, ensuring its stability during operation.

7, Oil Passage: The oil passage is a conduit that links the main journal bearing to the rod journal bearing. This passage is essential for the lubrication of the crankshaft, as it enables the flow of oil from the main journal bearing to the rod journal bearing, ensuring the smooth and friction-free operation of the engine's moving parts.
